well record companies shouldn’t be stealing the majority of their friggin profits either. or movie distributors. fuck all those people. artists have always worked for pennies or patrons

if today’s artists really think they’re entitled to millions of dollars they could use a good dose of humility. the people who buy your stuff are yokels and/or have disposable income. the people who get it through other means are schmucks and/or don’t have a disposable income.
